1. What This Service Is

Compress Image Hub is a free, browser-based tool that reduces image file sizes to a target you choose. It is provided as-is, without an account, a subscription, or a service-level agreement.

2. Your Files Stay Yours

We claim no ownership over your images and we receive no copy of them. Because processing happens entirely on your device, we are technically unable to access, inspect, or retain your content. Everything you compress remains exclusively yours.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the site to:

  • Infringe copyright, trademark, or privacy rights you do not hold.
  • Process images whose publication would be unlawful in your jurisdiction.
  • Attempt to disrupt, overload, or reverse-engineer the service beyond ordinary personal use.
  • Republish the site’s code or branding as your own competing service.

4. No Warranty

The tool is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Compression is inherently lossy: we cannot guarantee that a given file will reach your chosen target, nor that the visual result will be acceptable to you. Always review output with the comparison slider before you rely on it.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operators of compressimagehub.com are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from use of the site — including loss of data, corrupted files, or damage to your device. Large images are decoded in memory in your own browser, and on a low-RAM device this can exhaust memory; close other tabs when working with very large files.

6. Back Up Your Originals

The tool never modifies the file you add — it writes a new one. Even so, keep your own backup of any image that matters. You are responsible for retaining the originals.

7. Third-Party Links

Occasionally we may link to external references. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always published on this page with its revision date. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the revised terms.
